The KPD series low-voltage rail transport cart is a 36V low-voltage rail-powered electric flat car, which is powered by rail busbars to start the electric flat car.Because no cables are used, it is safe and reliable during operation, not afraid of being smashed or burned, and does not hinder cross-transportation. It is easy to realize remote control and automation, which brings great convenience to the layout of the factory area.
Working principle of low-voltage rail transport cart: The ground step-down transformer control cabinet steps down the single-phase AC 380V to single-phase 36V, feeds it to the flat car through the rail busbar, and then steps it up to single-phase AC 380V through the on-board step-up transformer.Provide power to the single-phase capacitor motor for the transfer cart.
Because the starting current flowing through the track when the KPD flat car starts is very large (up to 1000A), there is a large voltage drop at the end of the track at this time, which makes it difficult to start the single-phase capacitor motor. Therefore, the maximum load tonnage of the single-phase KPD flat car is 50 tons.
The KPD series electric rail transport cart has relatively high requirements for tracks.
Because it uses rails for conducting electricity, the rails must be insulated. When the distance exceeds a certain limit, a copper compensation line should be added to compensate for the voltage drop. When the running distance is relatively long, the number of transformers needs to be increased.
The working principle of the KPDS electric rail transport cart is as follows: the ground step-down transformer control cabinet steps down the three-phase AC 380V to three-phase 36V, feeds it to the flat car through the rail busbar, and then steps up the voltage to three-phase AC 380V through the on-board step-up transformer to provide power for the metallurgical motor used in the flat car.
KPDZ inherits the advantages of the KPD flat car and avoids the disadvantages of the original model, such as difficulty in starting and short running distance.
The KPDZ flat car uses an on-board rectifier to rectify the single-phase (or three-phase) AC 36V on the track into DC 36V, and drags the DC traction motor to make the flat car run. Compared with AC motors, DC motors are not easy to burn, have large starting torque, and have strong overload capacity.
Even due to reasons such as aging of the track insulation, it can still work reliably under undervoltage conditions.
Application areas
Industrial production lines: In many heavy industries and manufacturing industries, rail transfer flat cars are used to transport large items, semi-finished products or tools and equipment between workshops.
Mining transportation: In the mining process, transfer flat cars are used to transport ore or other materials from the mining point to the processing plant or storage area.
Warehousing logistics: In large warehouses or distribution centers, rail transfer flat cars can be used to automate the transmission of items and improve the efficiency of item distribution.
Port and ship loading and unloading: Ports often use rail transfer flat cars to transfer containers or other heavy goods to help increase the speed of loading and unloading goods.
